1.Where do you live as of today?

I live near Regina on an acreage.

2.How old are you?

I was born in 1942.

3.When did you start getting serious into your art?

I was serious about my art for as long as I can recall.

4.Are you still into your art as you were 20 years ago?

Of course.


5.When was your first display and where was it?

My first one man show was at Graduate school in Pennsylvania.


6.What kind of reaction did you get from people?

Mild amusement.

7.Did anyones criticism make you think twice about continuing to be an artist?

No.


8.Has any one person inspired you at all? Why? How?

Too many to count or single out.


9.What is your favorite piece of art you've done? Why?

I don't have one favorite. I am always totally engaged with each piece. Some pieces challenge me more than other's for various reasons, esthetically or technically.


10.Why have you done so many cows?

I don't know, but I have no regrets.

11.What has been your most memorable moment as an artist?

When I feel that I have pulled off a good sculpture.

12.How is your style so different from others artists?

I don't know. Is it? What do you think?


13.What kind of messages do you try to get through to people from your art?

None.

 

14.Where do you get your ideas from? Why?

From myself and my experience.



15..Do you get any kind of mental blocks and you can't think of any ideas?

No.

16.Describe some of your famous sculptures and what they mean.
